£15,000 has been dontated to charities through the reclaiming and recycling of metal from a crematorium in Bath, this includes medical pins, plates, wires and screws.  These items are recycled through a national recycling scheme, the money is then distributed to charities.

Recycling Charity Clears Up the Confusion Around Plastics

The charity RECOUP has joined forces with Norfolk Waste Partnership to develop a campaign to show how clothing can be made from recycled plastic bottles.  Students from Norfolk were asked to get creative and design items of clothing that could be made from polyester which comes from PET bottles, 9 finalists were chosen and were given materials to create their idea.

Bin Donated is a US organisation dedicated to helping homeless and less fortunate individuals. The purpose of the charity is to place a recycling bin in front a place of business such as hotels, any other organisations (profit or non-profit), doctor or dentist offices, etc. People who pass by or frequent the hotels, organisations or business can place donated items in the recycle bin.
