Network Rail are just about to launch a new campaign for coffee cup recycling in their stations, during the pandemic the amout of users reduced but now customers are on the rise making this a perfect time for this initiave to be launched

Teaching children about the importance of the environment should start in schools, especially if they are currently learning in an environmentally friendly school.   Howe Dell Primary school is one of the most eco-friendly schools in the world, the desks are made from recycled drainpipes, sink tops are recycled yogurt pots and the toilets are flushed with recycled rainwater.  

People like to stay up to date with the latest fashion even if they have an entire wardrobe full which hardly gets worn or never has been, fast fashion is classed as cheep and cheerful fashion which are sold by the likes of Primark and Peacocks have caused a shortage on raw materials which increases the UK carbon footprint.  

The Eco Schools Scheme is this weeks green champions, an organisation to help teach children how to care for their environment and how living in a cleaner community can help benefit everyone.
