Delivery Policy
Do you offer a next day delivery service?
Yes, we do. 90% of our orders are dispatched for delivery the next working day if received
before 1 pm. However,
there are occasions that items are not delivered on a next day service. This includes made to order items and
orders placed after 1pm. If you would like to double check then please call us on 01684 292727 and we will be
happy to help.
How long do I have to wait for my recycling bins to be dispatched?
We try to dispatch all goods within 24 hours of receiving your order. This can fluctuate
depending on busy
periods so your order maybe dispatched as early as same day or as late as 48 hours. However for up to date
information about the particular product you are buying please refer to the delivery & returns tab on the
product page. We use DPD Local generally to deliver smaller quantities and Palletline for anything pallet sized
or bigger. Once with the courier, goods generally take no longer than 48 hours to be delivered. From placing
your order to receiving the goods it takes on average 2 working days but unforseen delays with the particluar
courier can occur. If you need the recycling bins for a particular date then please get in touch and we will do
our best to accommodate you.
Can you give me an estimated time for delivery?
For items which go with our courier, DPD Local, if you have provided a mobile number you
will be sent a 1 hour
delivery slot, items which are sent via pallet we are unable to give an exact time of delivery.
Can you deliver at weekends?
Providing the goods are in stock we can deliver at weekends (on a Saturday) but this is
quite an expensive
option. The surcharge for this service is £20 per order and we would need to receive the order before midday on
the Friday.
If I order on the weekend or a Bank Holiday can I receive my order the next day?
Unfortunately not. If you ordered for example on a Bank Holiday Monday the goods would not
be packed until
Tuesday and would therefore be with you on the Wednesday.
Can you deliver to offshore areas?
We can indeed but the delivery costs do go up substantially outside of mainland UK. The
best thing to do is to
give us a call or contact us by email and tell us what you would like to order and where you would like it to be
delivered so we can give a more accurate quote. We will only ever charge you the actual cost price from the
courier.
Can RecyclingBins deliver my order to an address different to my billing?
Yes that is no problem at all, in fact a lot of our customers do just that. At the checkout
just untick the 'My
shipping and billing address are the same' box underneath your Shipping Address to enter your
Billing Address.
Can RecyclingBins deliver to my home?
We can deliver to your home address or any other address for that matter. When you check
out just choose your
billing and delivery address. If you would like the bin left in a safe place or any instructions just put this
in the comments box on the checkout page.
My delivery has got damaged - what should I do?
If you notice the box is damaged then straight away mark the box as "unchecked" or "damaged
box" so we have
recourse with the courier. If you have taken the bin in and only found damage once you have opened the box then
please email or call us as soon as possible so we can get a replacement out to you. To save any lengthy delays
we will typically ask for a picture of the damaged recycling bin. This enables us to get a replacement sent out
before the other goods are returned back.
Are there any delivery restrictions?
We can deliver to almost anywhere in the world but our standard and free delivery only
covers the UK Mainland. If
you would like delivery outside of this area then please call or email [email protected] for a
quote.
Is the packaging made from recycled material?
All products that leave our warehouse in Tewkesbury are packed in boxes that contain at
least 90% recycled
material. We have trialled 100% and sadly that resulted in a large increase in the numbver of breakages. Our air
pockets that protect the bins inside the box are made from 100% recycled material and are also
bio-degradeable.
