Hovis are going to be introducing clearer labelling to make customers aware that it's bread bags are 100% recyclable and encourage customer to recycle them after use. The new labelling is just another step the company is taking to reduce its environmental footprint.
A company that is working on innovating ways to recycle takeaway cups has won an entrepeneurs award. They use a technique which heats the cup to a very high temperature in the absence of oxygen, this can then be broken down into gas and bio-oil to produce energy.
